Dot came to Dunmovin in February 2008 "temporarily" - and has not seen any reason to leave yet! She and her 12 year old Appendix gelding "Benny" enjoy low level hunter shows, trail rides, and general pleasure riding. The two have been practicing the Parelli method and are currently working on refinement and finesse in Level 2. Ben, who has successfully transitioned to being barefoot year round, enjoys the ample turnout and lush grass at the farm along with the camaraderie of his friends. His favorite treat is a crisp apple although he has never met a treat he didn't like!

Just Because “aka” JB joined Dunmovin’ in 2009. JB is owned by Joanne and Kristen Terebesi. JB is a 23 year old thoroughbred who began his life in Virginia. His early years were spent foxhunting, cutting cattle, and playing polo! His owner at the time thought he was capable of more and decided to sell him. Kristen Terebesi entered the picture and together they went from winning and competing on the local rated circuits to winning tri-colors and blue ribbons from Vermont to Ocala Florida in the 3 foot equitation, children’s hunter and the Jr. Hunter divisions. Awards include, winning the Working Foxhunter class at Devon and tri-colors in the local hunter division at Devon. JB also won the National Championship in the NAL Children's Hunter Final at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. Also, included is a top placing in the State Line Tack Medal Finals at the Capital Challenge Horse.

With Kristen heading to college, Joanne, knew she wanted to take care of JB, just as he had taken care of Kristen all those years without asking for more than a pat and a carrot. So she decided that they would get “old” together! JB spends his days being loved and spoiled in his cushy semi-retirement, with his friends Roscoe and Benny. He continues to be ridden and occasionally shows in local schooling hunter shows, dressage/combined training events, pace events, and fun trail rides.

Joanne has been riding for 40 years. Mostly hunters, and dabbles in dressage/CT. JB now carries her around as they enjoy the “golden” years! Joanne occasionally judges local Chester County Horse Shows and hunter schooling shows.
